In 2019, I worked on content development and design of an educational poster for use at Illovo Sugar's Malawi operation. The learning tool aimed to educate Small Scale Growers on the complex payment system associated with growing cane, and empower them to understand what proceeds they could expect following supply of sugar cane to the Illovo mill.
For this project I took on the additional responsibility of distilling a very large amount of information into the content you see here in order to understand it fully myself, and be able to represent it accurately in a graphic manner, specifically for an audience with low literacy levels.
The poster has been produced in both English and Chichewa, and is used in regular financial literacy training with the Small Scale Growers.
